The rules of a drinking game are quite simple: Every time one of the criteria below is met while watching an episode of The Lone Gunmen, you take the prescribed drink. This drink can be of any liquid, but we would suggest very weak beer, unless you drink like a champion. If you are watching the Pilot ep, by the end of the first scene (introduction), you will have taken five drinks. You may up that number to seven, if you objectively feel that Byers had a "little boy lost" expression on his face when the winch control program was hijacked, or the "Full body cavity search" line was a scatological joke. The point is, if done correctly, this drinking game will have you completely pissed by the middle of any given episode.
If drinking games have a point, they're usually forgotten by the end of the show.
While watching the Lone Gunmen, every time you see:
- Intro in black and white (1 drink)
- Intro having nothing to do with the actual plot of the episode itself (1 drink)
- Gravity asserts its mastery over Frohike (1 drink);
...over any of the other Gunmen (2 drinks)
- Jimmy confuses a word for another word meaning something else (1 drink)
- Jimmy does something smart (CHUG!)
- Yves is seen walking down the hall, silhouetted, hips swingin' (1 drink)
- Yves takes the money and runs (1 drink)
- Yves in drag (1 drink)
- Someone is shot (1 drink)
- One of the Gunmen should logically be dead by the end of the episode (1 drink per Gunmen)
- The van is abused in some way, shape or form (1 drink)
- Langly vomits (1 drink)
- Langly is in a situation where he should vomit, but doesn't (2 drinks)
- Langly can't hack something--needs help from Yves or Kimmy (1 drink)
- Meaningful glance between Yves and Jimmy (1 drink) ... between Yves and any of the other Gunmen (CHUG!)
- Yves and Jimmy act the couple (1 drink)
- Jokes involving bodily functions/fluids, scatological humor (1 drink)
- Byers has that cute, little-boy-lost expression on his face. (1 drink)
- The Gunmen are wearing their all-black sneakster suits (1 drink)
- Langly is mistaken for a girl (1 drink)
