Fox hasn't been very nice to 1013 Productions in the past. Two of three Chris Carter creations were yanked before they really had a chance. Needless to say, fans of the Lone Gunmen are a little skittish about the boys' chances of coming back next season!

Many people think that the boom has been finally and irrevocably lowered on the Gunmen. However, there are persistent rumors that Fox has not formally cancelled the show, and might consider bringing it back as a midseason replacement for other shows next fall. If enough fans write to Fox to make their voice heard, we just might squeeze out a fair second chance from the network.

The Lone Gunmen came in 2nd on USA Today's 2001 "Save Our Shows" internet poll, just behind Roswell, and there have been various email campaigns to keep the show on the air. But all of these things mean nothing if you don't make your voice heard to Fox. Television stations take viewer letters very seriously, counting each letter as some 500 television viewers!
