Well, the official word from Fox is that the Gunmen will not return this fall. If you feel that the Gunmen didn't get a fair shake, and would like to make your voice heard, you're not the only one!
The Lone Gunmen came in 2nd on USA Today's 2001 "Save Our Shows" internet poll, just behind Roswell, and there have been various email campaigns to keep the show on the air. But all of these things mean nothing if you don't make your voice heard to Fox. Television stations take viewer letters very seriously, counting each letter as some 500 television viewers!
So I'm going to make it easy for you--behold the Save the Lone Gunmen Letter Generator. That's right! With very little effort and 34 cents, you can create a letter expressing your support of the Lone Gunmen.

(You might want to copy and paste the letter into your word processor and clean it up a little). After receiving a message from a harried temp over at Fox, I have updated Bring 'em Back yet again with a new address. While old letters had been going to Fox Broadcasting Co./PO Box 900/Beverly Hills, CA 90213, the new letters are a little more specific, going to Current Programming - Building 100 Room 4150. According to the temp, this will expedite the process of having our letters actually opened and read, instead of wasting away in the mail room.
But, if the Gunmen have taught us anything, it is to trust no one. So, I am suggesting that if you have not sent the letters before, you may wish to send one letter to both addresses, just in case our hard work is ending up in some dead-letters office.
All the same, it's great to know that our letters are making an impact. Keep writing! We may get them back as a midseason replacement yet!
